If none of the above sound appealing to you, here is a list of other fun things to do and see in the area. However, please be aware that we will not be providing transportation to these locations.

• Beers at Harpoon Brewery

  Weddings are stressful, so have a beer at this local brewery and kick back with a pretzel in their beer garden.

• Kayak on the Connecticut River

  A 5-10min walk from Hanover, you can rent a kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddle board from the Ledyard Canoe Club.

• Take a stroll at Storrs Pond

  This is where Mike proposed!! This recreational area has several walking paths, a disc golf course, a small beach, and kayaks to rent. You'll forget you're right next to a college town.

• Check out the Quechee Gorge

  The gorge is about a 10-15min drive away with beautiful views from the bridge. You can also take an easy walk down the path to the base of gorge. Bring a swimsuit and towel and go for a swim!

• Golf at the Hanover Country Club

  If you want to get some local golfing in, check out the HCC. Call the pro shop in advance to book your tee times. (603) 646-2000
